Description

Inspection of parts, assemblies, and weldments in a precision environment.

Responsibilities
  • - Setup and perform In-Process, Final, and First Article inspections, be    able to compensate for coatings where applicable.
  • - Communicate measurements to shop floor to drive dimensions to nominal.
  • - Document and manage any Non-conformances discovered during inspections.
  • - Communicate, with job managers, customers, and vendors on a variety of issues.
  • - Maintain quality records on the server.
Qualifications
  • - Well versed with the ASME Y14.5.
  • - Experience with inspection of threads, including screw thread, pipe thread, and British threads.
  • - Familiar with common post processes such as heat treat, plating, part marking.
  • - At least 3 yrs experience in mechanical inspection.
  • - Be able to use all hand tools (OD, blade, pitch mic's) and height gages.
  • - Be able to program or operate a CMM using PCDMIS
  • - Be able to program or operate an OGP or Keyence vision system.
  • - Knowledge of SPC a plus.
