Having a machining background is a must.
- Assembling parts: Following blueprints and specifications to assemble parts, subassemblies, and final products.
- Using tools and equipment: Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble parts.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues: Identifying and resolving assembly issues, such as incorrect fit or malfunctions.
- Contributing to improvements: Suggesting and implementing process improvements to enhance quality and productivity.
- Part Modification: Being able to run a VMC machine to modify parts.
- Attention to detail: The ability to work with precision and accuracy.
- Machining background: A strong understanding of machining.
- Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify and resolve assembly issues.
- Blueprint reading: Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Tool and equipment knowledge: Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Machining: The ability to modify parts on either a VMC, lathe, or manual lathe.
